Hey, I’m Darnell! 👋🏾

My journey with photography started about 14 years ago, but plot twist… I eventually packed my bags and moved to New York City to study Musical Theatre in the fall of 2016!

Since then, my creative life has taken me just about everywhere. I’ve photographed weddings, fashion, headshots, portraits, and everything in between. These days, I especially love creating images that feel authentic, intentional, and unmistakably you.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably traveling somewhere outside of the Big Apple, hosting a friends’ night at my place, playing Fortnite, rewatching Burn Notice for the millionth time, or convincing myself that going to the gym is, in fact, a personality trait. 😂

Being both an actor and a photographer has given me a pretty unique perspective. I know what it feels like to be on both sides of the camera. I understand the nerves, the overthinking, the “What do I do with my hands?!” moments, and I also know how powerful it feels when you see a photo and think, Yep. That’s me.

That’s always my goal.

I want to help every client discover and showcase their individual brand, personality, and voice while creating an environment where you can relax, have fun, and genuinely feel like yourself.

Great photos are important, but I want the experience of creating them to be just as good.
